Policies
Cookie Policy
By default we use only strictly necessary storage, such as remembering your cookie choice and your Recipe Box, and it stays on your device. Analytics and anything that tracks you load only if you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. “Similar technologies” include local storage, cache storage used by our offline mode, and scripts that read information from your device. This policy covers all of them, and we call them “cookies” for short. Some are set by us (first-party) and some by other companies (third-party).
How we ask for consent
When you first visit, we show a banner with three equally prominent choices: Accept all, Reject all and Customize. Until you choose, only strictly necessary storage is used, and analytics, advertising, embedded videos and CAPTCHA widgets stay blocked. In some regions we use lighter defaults, but browser privacy signals always win. Global Privacy Control turns marketing off, and Do Not Track turns analytics and marketing off.
Your choice is saved for 12 months. We’ll ask again after that, or sooner if we add new categories or vendors. We keep a version number for that, so a change always triggers a fresh prompt.
Change your consent at any time
You can also use the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
Strictly necessary
Needed for the site to work or to do something you asked for. These can’t be switched off in our banner. You can still clear them in your browser.

Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data in their settings. Blocking all cookies may stop the consent banner from remembering your choice, and clearing site data will delete your Recipe Box unless you’ve exported it first. Helpful guides:
