Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure
We may earn money from affiliate links, ads and clearly labeled sponsorships. It never costs you extra, and it never changes how we develop, test or describe a recipe.
The short version
Breakfast Bake is free to read. To keep it that way, we may earn money in the ways described below. When we do, we say so clearly and close to the content, as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires. Our recipes, tests and opinions are never for sale.
Affiliate links
Some posts link to products, such as a kitchen scale or a loaf pan, through affiliate programs. If you click one of those links and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is the same.
- Any recipe or post with affiliate links shows a short disclosure at the top, before the first link.
- Affiliate links are marked in our code with
rel="sponsored", as search engines ask. - We only link to things we’ve used or would genuinely recommend, and we tell you when something is a budget alternative we haven’t personally tested.
Advertising
We don’t currently show third-party ads. If we start, we’ll update this page and our Cookie Policy first, label every ad clearly, and load advertising cookies only with your consent.
Sponsored posts
Occasionally a brand may pay us to create a recipe featuring its product. Sponsored content is always:
- labeled “Sponsored” at the top of the post and in recipe listings, naming the sponsor;
- developed and tested by us to the same standards as every other recipe;
- written in our own words. Sponsors may check facts about their product, but they don’t approve our opinions.
We only accept sponsorships from brands we’d use anyway.
Gifted products
If a company sends us a product for free and we mention it, we’ll say it was gifted. Receiving a product never obliges us to write about it or to say nice things.
Editorial independence
Money never decides which recipes we publish, how we rate techniques or what we tell you to buy. Learn how we develop and test recipes in our Editorial & Recipe Testing Standards.
Questions
If you think a disclosure is missing or unclear, please tell us and we’ll fix it.
