Privacy Policy
Last updated October 30, 2026
This policy explains what information is processed when you visit breakfastbake.com (the "site"), which is operated by Breakfast Bake ("we", "us"). We've tried to keep it short and specific to how this site actually works.
The short version
- You can read every recipe without an account, and there is no sign-up.
- We don't run analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, comment systems or embedded social media.
- The site itself doesn't set cookies or use browser storage to track you.
- Like every website, our hosting provider processes basic technical data so it can deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Information processed when you visit
The site is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare necessarily receives technical information such as your IP address, the page requested (including any search words in the address), the date and time, your browser's user agent and the referring page. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site, prevent abuse and keep it secure. We do not use it to build profiles of visitors. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn't send requests to font providers. The recipe search runs inside your browser using a file downloaded from this site. Your search words are not sent anywhere else.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site does not set cookies or use local storage to track you. Your browser's built-in printing and the "keep screen on" feature on recipe cards work entirely on your device and store nothing. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie in some circumstances, for example to tell people apart from automated traffic during an attack. Such cookies are not used for advertising or analytics.
If you email us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation, and we don't add you to any mailing list. We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your message, then delete it when it is no longer needed.
Links to other websites
Recipes and guides may link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.
Children
The site is a general-audience recipe publication. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you (in practice, this is only correspondence you've sent us) and to object to or restrict its use. To make a request, contact us using the details on our contact page. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we add a feature that changes how information is handled, such as a newsletter, analytics or advertising, we will update this page before the feature goes live and change the "last updated" date above.
